Our Values

Consistency is a duty.

A true story needs knowledge and time. Here at Blackbeard & Company we value both. We do our research, develop the narrative, read the books, critically maintain the dramatic flow of cinema while composing, and then we execute what needs to be told.

Continuity is a duty.

At Blackbeard & Company, the story that is being told is the sole fire of the entire production. As a team of storytellers, we value the steps taken when producing a motion picture; whether film, tele or a short.

Perfection is a fallacy.

Here at Blackbeard & Company, we solemnly adhere to the principals of cognitive narration along with the safety of the crew. During production, safety is not a number, it is a duty, while our values paramountly lean toward the values of the narrative being shot, mistakes are inevitable and perfection is a negative. Per our Articles and philosophies, we strongly value story first, and safety as a duty.
